Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Apart from genuine, I think there's a crowd in the US making a 2 or 3 piece unit which make shipping easier?? Would love to find an option for .1 GT3 splitter too
🙂
Demon speed make that exact splitter i posted in the US, and i can import one, but thought i'd try to support somewhere local first if it was economical to!
Have you checked with your local Porsche centre? Last time I bought one it was $120 from them, on the off chance they may have old stock...
@spiller
had purchased a couple from Demon Speed I beleive, so would know costs, and quality of fitment.
@NAC911
$950 + GST would be for the road car GT3 part (and that is on the high end, you can source them for around $800 delivered from Pelican Parts). The pic you posted above is of the cup car lip which is thicker, deeper and more flexible. It used to be around $1201-$130 as
@edgy
said. However, as of approx 2020 it is no longer made by Porsche. The alternative is Demonspeed from the US who have just designed a replica. I ordered two of them a few months ago and it was around $500 delivered for the pair. I believe the price is slightly higher now and a single lip will be closer to $300 delivered. Shipping is similar for one versus two so find a friend who also wants one to share shipping costs if you can. The demonspeed part is a bit thicker and more flexible again than the cup lip.
NAC, if you want to go that route, I'm happy to get

and ship out with yours. I could pick it up around Easter if it's there by then. PM me if that might work
I requested from parts at PCM about 1 year ago, and again recently. 996 Cup Splitter NLA (no longer available).
However, 996GT3 and 996GT3RS both road versions still available.
I bought and have the 3 piece splitter from Demon Speed downstairs. I used a forwarding service called myus.com and total it was approx. $100 to get it (and a few other pieces sent over).
Greetings all.

6 way shipping using DHL works out to approx. AUD$90 each with 5 @ spoilers approx. AUD$168 each
Correspondence received and the details are below.
-----------------------
DHL: $379 / 4-6 day transit
UPS: $434 / 2-3 day transit
Just done some confirming research, the FVD site says that part no. will also fit .1, remembering that .1 GT3s were never sold in the US, so any US based parts supplier basically ignores the .1 in their parts listings / compatibility charts
🙂
Wanna believe all round good bloke....guess it depends on who you ask?
However, I'll be ordering the 997 flavoured one
I've been going nuts ordering stuff for the E, so what's another international transfer
I’ll be shocked if your cup splitter turns up as it’s been discontinued for a number of years now. Sometimes the dealer has to order from motorsport before they actually discover its NLA. Unless your dealer managed to find the last one in existence!
MK1 looks fine without. MK2 looks funny without. If you track your car you will want one. It’s also a good sacrificial piece for driveways, speed humps etc, rather than damaging your bumper.
Long shot but would anyone have a spare (new) 996.2 splitter lying around the garage? I'm chasing a Cup one but would be happy with the standard one as well.
i use a cup 997.1 splitter on my 997 aero kit C2S.
Porsche Adelaide sold me one at a quite reasonable $260. Try your local P dealer parts shop, they're surprisingly affordable.
