Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I’d probably use the saved money on wheels and suspension too.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all Im getting back into a 911 but stuck with the 991.1 v 991.2 issue. Im more comfortable with the 991.1 price and I think it will hold its money better. I’d probably use the saved money on wheels and suspension too. I had the 997s manual last time and felt you had to really work it to feel your pushing on (plus the noise at the top was awesome) But its not all about money, yes the 991.2 another roughly 10-12k but I like the turbos for more power and low down torque. Then there’s all the talk of how the turbos fail which I feel is scare mongering. So my question how did you decide? Was it purely buy the best one with the budget you have? Prefer the na engine and sound?
