Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey PAF, I recently installed a two post lift in my garage, what a game changer! Seriously, how did I ever live without this thing? It makes every job just that much easier. I took on the task of dropping the engine on my 996. Most of my mates were telling me, "Man, you're gonna need two days for that!" but nope! Only took me 6 hours.  I'm betting if I actually knew what I was doing, I could've had it done in like 4 hours tops. 😂 I'm still a bit of a novice, so if any of you pros have tips or tricks for engine work, I'm always keen to learn from the best! Ride safe and wrench happy!
