Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

One of them was fluctuating compared with the others, it was the front left wheel.
Leading evidence: 'front left wheel' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'front left wheel' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Inspect car' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Inspecting the car on a ramp we could see the reluctor ring had a break in it.

I was told by most specialists you can’t replace just the ring you need to buy a new driveshaft which at £1300 for a rear was ridiculous,

And it seems overkill to replace the whole CV end just for the ring.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My brakes are pulsing at very low speeds (around 5mph). I recently took my car for it's annual service and my indy said they used their diagnostic tool and the ABS system and sensors seem fine. They suggested it's most likely caused by a rusty reluctor ring, but couldn't tell me which one was causing it.
I will now attempt to fix it myself by replacing the offending ring(s), however I understand it's not a very easy job, as I have to remove the driveshafts to access the rings. How can I tell which needs replacing - is there any way to find out? Or do I just have to replace them one at a time and hope I replace the bad one?
Find out which calliper is pulsing. Just drive for a while at 5mph then get out and feel which disc has some warmth in it. Whichever it is, it'll most likely be the ring on the opposite side.
I found a friend with an Autel tool and we were able to diagnose the issue. With the unit plugged in, driving and then braking we could see a live graph on the unit showing the wheel speeds. One of them was fluctuating compared with the others, it was the front left wheel. Inspecting the car on a ramp we could see the reluctor ring had a break in it.
The problem now is finding a replacement; it seems they can’t be replaced as easily as the ones on the rear driveshafts. D911 has
this
assembly which includes the ring, but it’s not available for at least a month. And it seems overkill to replace the whole CV end just for the ring. But perhaps that’s what I need to do?
Does anyone know where I could buy just the ring? I asked Porsche but they wanted £1200 for a new complete driveshaft..
I’ve found one place to get them -

At £48+VAT for one (for front AWD) they’re not cheap but I guess they have you over a barrel as there’s nowhere else to buy them

My local none specialist garage that I take my other cars to and trust said if I supplied the ring they would do it.
I bought the Reluctor ring for around £10 and the garage swapped it out in around an hour, charged me around £100.
I was going to do it myself but it involved heating up the ring to get it on etc, and I don’t have a blow torch etc.
