Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

On my 2006 Carerra 4S the drivers side wiper arm stopp turning the wiper blade. The problem was the inside base had stripped and filled the rotating post underneath with metal. So the blade just sat while the post spun like it should. I ordered a new wiper arm and the wrong Bosch 22" wiper blades . No luck after reinstalling the wiper arm. After cleaning out the grooves in the rotating spindle with a razor knife and reinstalling the wiper arm - it worked but the driver's side blade was too long. The tip hit the pillar by the top of the windshield. These blades are both 22" And have junk attachment pieces that are fragile and break easily . The blades chatter and drag. Wrong curves too. Huge pain - Do Not buy these ! The blade description says it fits. Wiper Blade - 22" - Bosch "Evolution" (Beam Style Blade) - EVO22.Porsche 997 (2005-2013) Porsche 997 Carrera 4, Carrera 4 GTS, Carrera 4S, Targa 4 and Targa 4S (2006-12). NO , it doesn't. Not even close. See picture of tip hitting pillar. I kept trying to adjust the new wiper arm. Not the problem. The original style has an aero piece on a shorter driver's side blade and the correct curve on the passenger side. Only use those to get a real fit ! I found them at Suncoast , not sure if Pelican has them .
