Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Exposed shifter, GT3 console delete that keeps AC and batwing, door pulls, different color tachometer, self painted silver trim, hazard phone mount, cocoa matts, aluminum pedals, new leather ebrake handle and armrest cover. Not shown are sprint booster (hiding next to headlight switch), modified clutch pedal, updated subwoofer speaker in factory Bose Cabriolet box. Also hooked up wireless android auto connector and wires to back of head unit, receiver hidden under the plastic plug that goes in console for GT3 delete All around just made it feel fun and new again! The shift is a joy with short shift kit and aluminum ****. Left to do: freshen up seats, paint calipers, drive more often!

POST 2Original post

I dont care much for interior mods, but I am very impressed with your result. Everything is tied together very well, and it just looks right. I like your attention to detail!

POST 3Original post

Tell me about the exposed shifter. That looks fun.

Thank you for the kind words! A few pieces took a couple tries to get right for sure.

I'm using the factory shift surround plastic piece. I plasti dipped it black so the texture would be more similar to the center console. From there I got the surround trim replacement piece on Etsy and painted it silver. The shifter is rennline and the short shift kit is a pretty common unit found online...the blue piece is a nice touch when exposed. Had to paint the white plastic piece in the shift connector area so it didn't stick out. All in all it has a fun short and mechanical feel.... somewhat reminds me of a gated Ferrari shifter. Nothing is permanent and I can switch back to my normal **** with leather boot in about 2 minutes.

POST 6Original post

Brendan, were you unable to tuck the batwing under the carpeted console delete? Let me know, I was pretty sure there's enough room for buttons and all that unless you found something else in the way.

The console delete I bought came with a 3d printed mount for the AC controls and the batwing. Slick designed piece that all worked really well. Got it here : https://artndvehiclestudio.com/produ...console-delete
