I had assumed tighten up the bolt then once tight, adjust the camber using the concentric bolt.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey - I'm part way through a complete suspension refresh on my 996 C4.1 Cab (Spyder Performance kit) and can't work out how to torque up the eccentric bolts that hold the coffin arm (and track rod) to the chassis. I was expecting to connect a crowfoot to my torque wrench, but there is just no room to work in there. Anyone any advice please? (thanks in advance)

POST 2Original post

Hi Dan, did you manage to do this? This is next weekends job. I had assumed tighten up the bolt then once tight, adjust the camber using the concentric bolt. I had the same problem on the front attaching the coffin arm to the subframe. I think it’s around 115nm but couldn’t use my torque wrench or crows foot due to the space. So…. I used the German setting guttentite. Worked a treat.
