This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

The issue is more likely which aerial path you’ve bypassed.
Leading evidence: 'more likely' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'more likely' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all. I’m new to 996 ownership. I have a 2003 C4 Cabriolet. I’ve bought the PCCM+ and installed it.
I’m having and issue with the DAB set up. My car has the m440 spec. I’ve followed the instructions but when I bypass the aerial amp in the a pillar and then the diversity module I hear nothing and can’t see Andy FM or DaB channels. If the A pillar antennae and diversity module are left alone FM works.
Any thoughts
Many thanks.
If FM works with the original aerial amp/diversity left connected, I’d say the PCCM+ itself is probably fine. The issue is more likely which aerial path you’ve bypassed.
On the 996.2 diversity setup there are reports of the supplied bypass ending up on the wrong side of the diversity connector. One 911UK member traced the A-pillar aerial with a multimeter and found it went to the non-keyed half of the double cream plug. Swapping the two aerial connections at the diversity module gave him full FM/DAB reception.
Thread 'PCCM+ DAB+ Reception'

I drove my car for the first time today since fitting the PCCM+ just before the New Year.
I thought I had the DAB+ stuff sorted by bypassing the amplifier in the Drivers Side A Pillar and then bypassing the Diversity switch in the passenger footwell.
The DAB reception is poor, something seems not right. I am wandering if I bypassed the right aerial in the A-Pillar......
I dont seem to have a picture of the A-Pillar but below is what I bypassed in the passenger footwell. If I unplug that cable I get zero DAB so assume its doing something.
Anybody else have DAB issues or can definitively...

Thread '996 PCCM+ plug in and play.... my arse'

2004 C4S. Having fun and games fitting my PCCM+ (well games at best). Stuck at the ariel connection on the right A pillar bit. It just doesn't match the crap photo in the technical instructions. Suppose to ground it, connect the white connector to something and feed the wire to the PCCM. What I assume is a booster on the A pillar has no connector to match the one on the supplied wire. The PCCM end of the wire obviously goes into the white socket on the back of the DAB receiver (silver box). Anyone had experience of this and can enlighten me? I'm assuming this a pain in the arse because i...

Thanks for the replies. I understand the aerial amp may be in the left hand A pillar. The Porsche instructions are not the best. I’ll get my multi meter out. Thanks again.
