Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, I am considering a 996 C4S at Philip Raby, near Chichester. Midnight blue, 76700 miles. Has anyone dealt with Philip Raby and can provide feedback on the experience, please? Can anyone comment on the car, please? Best wishes, Alister Turtle.

POST 2Original post

Nearly bought a Carrera 3.2 of him last year but it wasnt the right car. An absolute gentleman in the world of car dealers....

POST 3Original post

9Werks TV on Youtube did a video yesterday of the cars at Raby and I'm sure that included the midnight blue 996 C4S. Offered with a 6 month warranty.

POST 4Original post

I’ve dealt with Phil a couple of times, selling a 4S and, happily, buying another one 10 yrs ago which I still have. Lovely guy to deal with. Don’t know the car but check the usual 996 things… from the ad it sounds to have been nicely looked after.

POST 5Original post

I have not bought from Philip, as when I was looking they didn't have anything quite meeting my requirements. However, I have only heard good things about them and have been there a couple of times with minor work and been mightily impressed. The location is also excellent being a short walk from Bosham harbour area, which makes trips there even more of a pleasure.

I have always taken my 911 996 there and had no problems, but there is a but. My last experience was terrible with really bad customer service so I wont be returning. I have never bought a car from them so not sure what that is like, good luck.
