Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All This is probably a repeat query but I can't decide where to put the black sticky tape to blank off the headlight dazzle for oncoming drivers My 996 has clear lens covers marked bosch h7. Thanks Bob

POST 2Original post

You could use the inbuilt diverter included in the light unit for RHD 996s in LHD situations. Pop out the headlight unit, turn the lever and replace. 2-3 mins per side.

POST 3Original post

Yes no need for stickers the headlights have a built in switch to divert the beam.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Thanks but I must be Dumb or have replacement lights as I can see any Adjuster.

POST 5Original post

Isn't it just the Litronics that have the O/T (Tourist) setting lever? The workshop manual shows masking film for 996.1 headlights, but not for 996.2.
