Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thought some might find this useful. After chasing poor pedal feeling on my 996.2 C4S, the last link was to replace the brake master cylinder. Some internet research suggested the 997 GT3/Turbo master cylinder as the optimal replacement (Porsche part number:  997-355-91031, TRW part Number TRW-PMN166). Autowerks fitted this up last week with only a minor change needed to change a 10mm to 12mm fitting for the ABS line. The upgrade is definitely noticable and well worth the effort if it needs replacing or updating.

POST 2Original post

Lee from 9Werks TV in UK did this for his 996.1 C2 and seemed positive about it:
