I gave them my cars specs, the spacers I had used with my stock wheels, and they assured me that they will make the wheels fit flush but not stick out.

Suggestion
I'm still in the dark as to what offsets they used, so I've asked modbargains to check with the manufacturer for me.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Do love the look, they originally had them advertised on a 996TT but their site, they only list 18" 5x130 with 8 and 9.5" width and 20-30ET.... Meaning meant for G body / air cooled cars.

I just called their KC offices - for 996 fitment it is a bespoke/custom order - $470 for 18x8.5 fronts (any finish, any offset) and $505 for 18x11 rears (any finish, any offset). 5-7 weeks for delivery.
Personally, I love the look of those wheels. Go for it. If I move from 17s to 18s I might get them custom for my 996, thanks
@dpluimer
.
Seems like staying with 17s these days really limits options. 17s are so much lighter and they ride more like I drive but I understand the bigger wheels thing, they do look nice.
After a few hours of hunting... turns out MOMO was wrong, maybe? I'll be placing an order for a set with Mod Bargains (Kevin their sales manager was VERY helpful), and report back!
Despite what the person at MOMO told me yesterday, they indeed are available and I've ordered a set!
Apparently MOMO isn't able to do 12" wide at the moment, so the largest you can go is 11", but you can pick your offset, width and color, as each set is made bespoke. I spec'd 18x9 +50 in the front, and 18x11 +35 in the rear, as I wanted to retain the factory scrub radius. Fitment was verified by MOMO for interference.
If anyone else is looking to purchase, shoot Kevin McDonnell at Mod Bargains an email ([email removed]), he'll take care of you.
Cheers!
I got the "Free Wheel Shipping" e-mail from them yesterday and saw they advertised the MOMO Heritage wheels.
Glad to hear they are still available.
ModBargains is a great source that I've purchased from in the distant past..
I also called momo direct, and they're happy to take orders and do custom wheels for a very reasonable rate. Other than turbo twists, the momos in black (my car is Meridien metallic) are my fave. A simple 5 spoke that harkens back to the days of the 512 bb. And they look so good on a 996.
Here's what they look like on a N/B 996.
I love 'em. I briefly looked into them, but there was no information on offsets or widths, and it
appeared
Momo had ceased producing them. They look stunning, but I'd like to know accurately what they weigh. in the correct N/B widths & offsets.
Why do i look at these pictures? Just makes me want to spend money. Then, if you tell me it's not available, I want to spend MORE money... freakin' slippery slope.
Yeah those photos seal the deal. My twists are 23 years used and someone who drove my car in the past was a complete spaz sadly.
I'm into the Momo's and refinishing my twists or replacing them with refinished twists and selling mine as parts. I wish there was a trade in program, a core fee type thing, for wheels.
I did finally get the wheels from Mod Bargain, though the purchase was a little rough towards the end. I waited two extra months to get shipped some meh wheel bolts I could have bought on Amazon and overcharged for them as well.
Work has been busy, so the wheels have just been sitting in the garage. Hope to have the mounted up soon!
The MOMO site only had 4 widths available, 8" to 9.5". They are also listed as Out Of Stock. Other sites have them for $450-$550 ea. and claim any width and several colors. The thing I don't get is why we wouldn't see these options on the MOMO site. Is it because MOMO doesn't want to deal directly with the customer?
Was told by whoever answered the phone at Momo 3 days ago,,, "no more wheels as of a few months ago as we had a blow out sale. Might be making a few models in 6 months or so and probably the Heritage will one of our come back wheels...." " Some dealers could have leftover stock but we are not drop shipping any wheels now."

Kevin is no longer at modbargains, but you can email sales@. Ron helped me out, you can tell them your car, tires, current wheels and brakes, and their engineers will make the wheels in the correct offset for C2 or C4s.
My car is meridian metallic and I've decided on the bronze. I know it's kind of daring and I could change the color again. Because they are a dark bronze and my car is a neutral tint, not really a color, it's appealing but hey, share your opinions please! My options are
matte or gloss black, matte or gloss gunmetal, matte bronze, matte race gold, gloss white, MOMO red and heavy metallic silver.
wheels take 6-8 weeks and as they are aftermarket they use cone tapered bolts instead of porsche ball. I'm ordering a stud conversion kit with an extra 15mm rear and 10mm front, and 2 sets of bolts, so I can swap in my turbo twists easily
Here's pics of my car with black wheels and with stock silver. And link to rennbow as well for other
meridian metallic cars
Yes, that's my shepherd rotty cross, she dwarfs the front seat heh.
Opinions welcome!
Thanks all.
They're here! My heritage 6s are being mounted w Conti DWS06 plus, balanced and installed Monday morning. Gotta say I'm a little nervous as the actual offsets are still a mystery to me. I gave them my cars specs, the spacers I had used with my stock wheels, and they assured me that they will make the wheels fit flush but not stick out. It would be awful if they got em wrong, but it's not like they haven't made these wheels before. They're actually made by forgestar, under license. And forgestar know the specs of a '01 C2. Will post pics soon. I hope.
I'm still in the dark as to what offsets they used, so I've asked modbargains to check with the manufacturer for me. Stay tuned. This is just a quick snap, they fit great IMHO. I'll take more photos later with my camera.
They might be. Boxes are being picked up from garage with my twists in them today and brought to house will check then. More pics...
Still just phone snapshots sorry. Will post off sets later.
@bunger78
did you get yours mounted?
Should I go for the decals? Much more subtle without, but the Momo yellow decals really pop...
Just to follow up, the heritage 6 wheels that fit so well on my '01 C2 NB, that I had built by forgestar (I think} and purchased through modbargains were
17x8 +36, 17x9 +39. They are mounted with factory size tyres.
I hope this helps anyone else thinking of fitment for these cars.
