Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hi i track my 991.1 C2S a lot. After 7 years of extreme driving and stock sports exhaust starting making snow on track. The engine sounded very flat at WOT in sports mode with chunks of fibre glass coming at the back. No codes - no missfires etc so im happy the issue was post Cats👍 Has this happened to anyone else 991.1 S. Mine has done 60,000 km probably 15-20,000 is on a track pushing. Testament to the quality of the PSE component's considering the life they have had. Im guessing the centre muffler has no fibre glass so its coming from the sides mufflers? Any help on if the sides need to be replaced or most likely just the centre replaced appreciated.

POST 2Original post

Hey @Porkafan , wow, having your PSE start “making snow on track” after that much hard driving is pretty wild! To help narrow down the source, have you noticed if the flat sound or the debris seems to be coming from one side of the car more than the other? A few more details like that might help someone here pinpoint which muffler has given up.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
