Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

75 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 2Original post

Can you point me towards a good photo comparison of mk1 side skirts v/s mk2 side skirts. The prior owner did not mention having added side skirts so I assumed they were the X76 flared rocker panel option, no indication that they were added after the fact. BTW - did not mean to junk up the picture thread. Thanks.

POST 19Original post

Wow. So that front end is fiberglass. Does anyone know if the Aero Kit is fiberglass or polyurethane? And on the subject of body kits, what are my options for a 99 C2? There doesn't seem to be a lot of kits available for it. I wouldn't mind throwing a turbo front bumper on it...can this be done? Sorry for all the newb questions, but i'm sure there's plenty of people who can answer them. Thanks!

[quote=BMoney5327;2195555]Thanks guys,i love the car! But with this kit on it,it isnt too great to drive around..This is what happened yesturday on the highway! Yeah, I could have told you from experience that the larger lip won't last long. You can get a smaller lip from Precision Porsche (which I have) and you should be O.K. Also, you can check with board member Angldrkns9. I believe he sells a mid-sized lip that you might be able to get by with.

Quotes source post: 2197687

Quote: That is true..to be honest the car is alittle weird. I have to take it into Porsche either 2marrow or Monday. Has a problem starting and i just replaced the battery 2weeks ago. After replacing it the car was fine until a couple days ago. Went to park it at my house and I stulled in Reverse so I tried turning the car on again and nope, even after several attempts. So I said whatever ill let it sit and try it the next day(which was New Yrs Eve) Still no crank. Again let it just sit becuase Im busy and didnt feel like dealing with it. So 2day comes and it starts to snow and my car is still outside,so I run to put my cover on it,but I said let me see if it starts,it started and now its in the Garage. So i dont know wussup with it. Weird to me. I also have a solid CEL on! Ehh

POST 45Original post

A friendly suggestion, if I may.... A distinction should be made between simply posting a picture of your car for everyone to view vs. posting a pic and asking for an opinion. This is just the picture thread - it is not an "Opinions of this _______" thread. If an opinion was not asked for, don't post one - especially a negative one. What is the point of flaming what someone else has done to their own car? If you don't like the body kit, color, wheels or the damn background in the picture, skip to the next post and carry on with your life, satisfied with what you have done to YOUR car. Why be insulting? On the other hand, if you should choose to solicit opinions, be prepared for all of them and don't whine about it when someone doesn't agree with your own taste. There are lots of good debates about the material, workmanship, performance or cost of various parts on this board. Along with sharing and networking, that is what this place is about (imho). So, lets show some common courtesty to each other. Champion of civility in 2009, M. Mathis

Yeah u right, these are two different red Turbos. The one has Carrera GT headlights. All the shown Turbos are tuned by Enco, a german Tuner. The roof scoop is an air suction channel. Each car has 4 air intercooler and 2 of the 4 air intercooler getting the air from the air suction channel on the roof I hope u know what I am sayin, I am german Check the engine, it needs a lot of air, and the cars are driven in Dubai where they need a lot of cool air because of the heat in this emirate. The cars have 600hp and 800NM. On this pic u can see the air suction channel with the two holes for the two air intercooler.

IT was actually finished in red centers in the end. we were going to do blue stripes and wheels originally on the car.....that may happen later down the road though you can also see the doors finished in black. The upper pod, rear panels, along with A and c pillar and roof are also finished. Carbon door pulls, and carbon door sills amp rack is color matched.. exposed carbon under hood
