Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I was curious if anyone has used niine design's vinyl stick on lever protectors? Any feedback on them is appreciated....thanks

I have used them. I don't remember if that was the company however the vinyl scratched very easy and it started to peal up at the edges. So I pulled them off and painted the levers with base and cleared lacquered them. I'll try to show a photo of them if you like.

POST 3Original post

If you don't have a problem with not seeing the little hood open logos on the lever then this is the way to go.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks for the info, they look real nice....I guess paint is the better route

With the clear coat on the levers, you can actually buff out any scuff marks with your finger after awhile and still look clean. Have the paint #s if you are interested.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, sure I'll take the numbers. Did you pull them off to prep/paint or just masked everything off? I'm wondering how difficult it is to pull them off. Did you consider having them chromed or powder coated.

POST 7Original post

I was considering pulling off. Not very hard to do However that day i decided to mask off everything. Took about 30 minutes to do the job. Get your self a cheap painters tarp at Home Depot about 3 dollars and news paper and masking tape 600 grit wet paper. Take your time doing it 1 spray can of Rust-oleum metallic mat nickel #7277830 and spray can rust-oleum #257884 automotive clear gloss. I picked them up at the Home Depot on Jericho TPKE
