Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

75 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 25Original post

Yes I agree with the rest. Your white aero looks stunning. Wheels go perfect with it. I would suggest tinting the windows

POST 26Original post

Boblaz...nice P car..my question is why did Porsche decide to make the amber/red tail lites on that model and not just go with the clear/red!! what were they thinking!!

POST 27Original post

Actually the car came with the clear/red but I put a set of the ambers because I like the match with the green car better.

POST 28Original post

Quote: Is that a wrap on the GT3 or is it painted flat black? Awesome car and setup - if its paint I'd love to know what kind to achieve such a dull finish but deep black.

POST 44Original post

no... that is a 996gt3 (front end damage) converted to a 997gt3... its not a wrap.

POST 46Original post

Redridge is correct. that is no wrap on the car. Finished in Matt black and matt silver touches simply sick!! good thing he is the owner of the body shop...becuase when he is tired of the color he can change it pretty easy

POST 47Original post

Does anyone know who painted the car? I'd love to know the specs on the paint. The PPG I used doesn't give as deep a finish. Thanks.

POST 56Original post

Quotes source post: 2255288

Quote: Your rear brakes will NEVER get hot enough to need cooling, and if you try and get air to your motor you will most likely end up with a TON of dirt in the engine area, and not much gain in HP I am not feeling the front bumper of the hood, but nice work on your car to make it unique and personalized to you!!

POST 57Original post

Interesting. Has anyone ever tried putting vents in a NB? Without changing the entire quarter panels? Maybe using vents from a boxster? Just curious.

i thought i would share some of the latest detailing upgrades i had done, the work was carried out by detailing dynamics of mineola n.y.my thanks go out to matt and eddie, these guys really no their stuff !.here are some of the mods.a rennline extingusher mount , along with a rennline stainless steel indicator light cover, bumperplugs did the center console in matching midnight blue, aluminum pedals are from suncoast, a silver porsche crest badge on the front hood, silver carrera script on the rear along with chrome lug caps.plus and of course 3m film protection for the front bumper, hood and lights.and just completed the rotor hats and wheels along with window tint ,and of course a full blown detail of the paintwork,if your looking for a shop on long island, and your completely nuts like me,these guys are the way to go. Here are the pics. The rotor hats and wheels were done as follows: -rotor hats, prepped, sanded, primped and painted - wheel weights removed - prepped, sanded and taped - primed - painted with epoxy paint this wheel upgrade has to be seen!very suttle, but absolutely awesome! The tint was done with carbon tint. 50% on the sides and 35% on the rear. The headlights were wet sanded and polished. Then protected with 3M film.
