Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not watched it all, but it features a blue 996.1 Carrera bought for £10k travelling across Africa for a race. Thought it might be of interest to some of you on here. Can’t say I’m that taken with the new presenters, but give it time….maybe.

im the same - not yet come around to the new crew so not had the desire to bother watching it - in fact didnt even know it was out yet

POST 3Original post

Francis Bourgeois is the one to watch, he is brilliant, I watched his series with Chris Harris when they rebuilt a Locomotive in Scotland

POST 4Original post

We've been watching the new series and both of us said it's just a carbon copy of Top Gear with the new presenters. I can't say it's not good cause it's about cars but it's the sort of programme you can switch off and walk away from and not feel you've missed something. The 1st episode is about 3 high powered 'Muscle' cars, American of course and they go on a road trip around California and then get chased by some fighter jets, sound familiar? Mr F B definitely brings a different atmosphere to the show, the one thing about him is that you know he's being honest and not playing up to the camera.

POST 5Original post

Quite an entertaining watch and enjoyed watching the 996 being an owner. Was nearly sent to Angola whilst " enjoying" national service in the SADF.....!!! Not sure I could watch a whole series of those 3 though.

POST 6Original post

Can’t get used to the new guys, the American is irritating and skinny nerd is just as bad, the English beaded guy is ok. Episode 5 is a race to the Spa track for the Williams team.

POST 7Original post

Personally I prefer to use the required electricity for something useful!

POST 8Original post

Just watched the 1st one, i think it's better than the BBCs effort with Paddy and Freddy by a long way, I quite enjoyed Jensen Buttons appearance around the track. It's all been done before but still better than whatever else is on these days.
