Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Don't be so hard on yourself. Tastefully done and to each his own. I was much more pure in my tastes when I bought mine in 2000. Now I say it's time to have fun regardless of what the peanut gallery has to say about it. Don't stop...

POST 3Original post

Quotes source post: 2327737

Quote: Thanks for the great compliments! Well, the rear bumper is the stock 2003 C2 rear bumper. No changes have been made to that part. The front bumper is a C4s unit that I bought from a board member already painted in my color (that was lucky). The rear decklid is the original C2 decklid with the retractable wing removed and a fiberglass "insert" wing base screwed in. The wing itself is a replica GT3 RS wing in clear coated carbon fiber that will hook into any normal GT3 wing base as well. In terms of ride height, I do like that the PSS9 lets me (relatively) easily change the height. I bounced up and down before settling on this ride height. It allows me to go over speed bumps and up and down driveways without too much, if any rubbing. I got a 3-year alignment package at NTB (they have some sweet new alignment machines that are completely level on the ground now), so if I change the height, I can get a free alignment. That cost $150, and should be worth it over the next few years.

Quote: Thanks! Yea, it's a Porsche, but it's still a car. I have a daily driver (loaded 300C), so I figure I could have some fun with this car. When it's not appropriate to bring a boy racer to the party, the 300 does the job just fine. Everything I have done over the years to the Porsche can literally be undone in 1 day and sold, so it's not the end of the world.

POST 11Original post

Can you tell us where you got the Turbo bumper? Is it Techart or one of the replicas? It LOOKS GREAT!!

Quote: CT has some seriously nice real estate. I was at a friend's house in Greenwich a month ago, and was marveling at the size of his estate - And just when I was getting used to the ridiculousness, one of their friends pulled in driving a $10M Ferrari 250GT California Spyder. I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing: Luckily, I had brought my photo gear with me, and the owner was cool enough to let me shoot it. As far as my pics above go, they were taken at one of my family homes in South Carolina. My mother has lived on Hilton Head Island for the past 18 years, and my father's house in the pics is at one of the golf communities off-island. We stopped here on our way back from Florida, as it breaks the drive up nicely.

Quote: Thanks Pas! The wing is the OEM Porsche Cabriolet wing. I wasn't a huge fan of it at first, but it is definitely growing on me. Sorry for the delayed response, I spent the day in the car, driving from the SC house to a friend's spot in Raleigh NC. An enjoyable, uneventful top-down drive in 90+ degree weather. It's been a hell of a trip down south, and thanks to the Cabriolet my tan is now of George Hamilton proportions. Since it was so well received, here a few more of the California. I'm a car guy like (I'm sure) the majority of this forum, I was a teenager when I saw Ferris Bueller's Day Off in the theater, and being able to experience an example in person was fantastic.
