Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My parcel shelf carpet is badly faded. Does it simply pull out to be replaced with adhesive? I got back there and tugged around but was reluctant to give it the cuff heave-ho. I hope to either replace it, re-dye it or cover it with a Lloyd mat or cocoa mat.
Thanks.
I pulled out my rear carpet a while back. I don't remember a lot of glue, but you've got to take out the back seats and a number of brackets to get it out. There's a LOT of sound absorbing padding. You can keep it or slice it out as you see fit (it weighs a lot, so the trade off can be great - weight goes down, noise goes up). It's not terrible difficult (unless you have a roll bar in back - ugh!), but remember how it came out (read: take pictures as you go) - there are a lot of pieces - hardware and carpet bits).
Good luck!!
Even though the Lloyd configurator doesn't show a small deck mat for below the window on a 2004 996 coupe, I just ordered one for a 997.1 C2S coupe and it fits the 998 C2 perfectly.
Seems to me like an easier solution than tearing out the old.

Pelican has one.
I wouldn't redye it unless removed, To big a chance of getting it on something you didn't want to.
But you can find those sections almost any color (ex Nephite Green) someone has taken out on famous Auction site on here on Rennlist Classifieds.

Hey all!
Recently bought new rear carpet for my 01 C4. Will this fit? I heard gen 1 & gen 2 carpet is different size, but not sure which one this is and if that is true or not.
Please let me know- TIA!
