Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

J- the funny thing is we are planning to shoot my car in a setting similar to that here in SF.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You know I will!! The last time I "tried" to make it to NY was when the crazy snow storm hit about 2-3 years ago and I was stuck on the Long Beach runway eating peanuts in a Jet Blue 747... Not fun considering it was a 4 hour wait to see if the weather would clear up. I will keep na ear out for the rear bumper... I love you front bumper though
J- the funny thing is we are planning to shoot my car in a setting similar to that here in SF. I am just too busy with work to actually leave the house and go through all the work. On another note, you should definitely do that CGT headlight conversion, that would rule all!
oh yea, the carrera gt headlights look amazing on the 996! I've seen that pic floating around for a while but never saw any others. If you find out the cost please let us all know.
Finally got some decent shots of my ride. Dropped it a tad more and added some spacers to the front [7mm] and rears [15mm]. Also had my fenders rolled in super tight and modified [aka a little bit of cutting] in the rears to fit the wheels with the drop I wanted. Also swapped out the bypass pipes for FVD Exhaust and FVD Headers. Thanks to Frank [Aero996] for the FVD goodies. Thanks to Ace and speedyjp for the spacers!
Here's mine...recently lowered on H&R coilovers. Also have 19" TAs, clear sides, bumper plugs and model designation delete. Let me know what you think!
Stingray2006,
Got your pm, but I can't reply yet due to my post count. To answer your question, I haven't had any issues with fitment on the rears with my techarts. If they were any wider I think there would be issues, but as it is I think they're perfect. Pic attached
.

Hi Chad,
Thanks for this picture. Can I ask you that you make more pictures from different angles of your rear wheel, please. And do you maybe know how much camber do you have in the rear?

if u look hard, you can see a white viper, a yellow murcielago, a yellow z06, a yellow scuderia, a red 930 slantnose, a seal grey 997...
the other crazy cars in the group were obscured. but there were more loti, a gtr, a pantera, porsches, ford gt, audi r8, etc...
it was a good run. i learned that my murc can't outrun a new gen viper, and gets trounced by a ford gt with a pulley and a tune.
Hi,
the rims are Rial Daytona racing. front are 19x8,5 and rear are 19x11. I don't remember what the offset of them are
. I will probably remove the rims this winter so I can find out then.

I had those same wheels, same fitment on my NB 2001 C4 and I changed them because they would rub even with 275s on the rear. Now I have 997 Turbo style wheels with 305s without any rubbing.
I worked as a valet at The Porsche Store in Dallas, Texas from 17-19. I swore the first Porsche I owned was going to be a 996. My dream has come true. 1999 SY 996 Cab 71k for $17K. Can't beat a moving out of the country deal!!!

My 4-year old son owns my 996. He looks for it and at it everyday, demands to ride in it at every opportunity he gets, and gets pissed if someone messes with it.
But now, he wants a Lotus
and he may just get it next year
.
He may get the 996 in 12 years too.......if the engine doesn't blow up by that time
(knock wood!).
SY996CAB, nice ride! I just scored my 99C2 with 88k miles for $17k as well about a month back. Local WA car. I need to clean and take pic when it warms up some here (lower teens right now!)
