Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I would like to retrofit TPMS to my 2013 991. It is UK spec and TPMS was not standard for here until 2014. I have approached OPC and a couple of indies but they do not want to take it on, citing uncertainty of success or impossibility as it is not retrofittable due to either the wires not being in the loom or the module having to be coded. I’m happy to run new wires for the wheel arch sensors but I have no experience in PIWIS or coding. Does anybody know if it is possible to code the TPMS control module to the car if it was not installed originally, as this would be the sticking point I think. Thanks
