I retrofitted the PSE center muffler on my non- pse 911 and installed center console buttons (all oem kit from suncoast ). Verified the exhaust flaps open upon cold start then close once warm. Looked all over on the forums and just want to confirm if anyone has successfully activated the added pse center console button at home with PIWIS clone . I've read some have tried but it messed up the sport & sport+ buttons. Porsche dealers close to me don't seem to be confident on how to activate/program the button or at least are not motivated to do so. Any help would be much appreciated!

I can’t directly answer your question how the PSE can be activated with a PIWIS clone but I suspect that you would need to buy a hacked code tied to your vin or get the code from Suncoast to enter in PIWIS . I can tell you about my experience with the dealership coding my PSE . Four years ago I purchased the Suncoast kit and arranged and installed the PSE button in the proper position and installed the new console panel and completed the rest of the wiring and exhaust. I took it to the dealership to code it with their PIWIS and at first they did not know how to code it and asked if I had the code to enter into PIWIS . I talked them into calling Suncoast for the code and a hour later and for $140 they assigned the functions to the proper button locations and everything worked Including when I hit the sport button it automatically turns on the PSE and turns off the Auto start/stop. I was new to Porsche at the time and was not familiar with PIWIS and the coding procedure and I even installed the sport plus button in the new console panel and asked them to activate it not knowing that it is not possible for a dealership to activate it on a 981 /991 not equipped with the sports chrono package , at least without a hacked code and a cloned PIWIS . Thank you so much Jim for taking the time to share your experience. I was finally able to make an appt with a Porsche dealer close to me. We'll see how it goes. So excited to get the feature enabled!
