They sourced, fitted and setup the Ohlins for my 2005 Turbo S and then more recently, as like yourself, when I was looking for a more compliant and forgiving on-road ride they replaced all with their in-house developed (with Bilstein) CGGT setup for our 4-wheel drive cars.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi. Had the my 2003 C4S on a ramp recently and given it a good once over inspection. It’s all solid and mechanically sound but most of the suspension components will need some attention over the coming year or so. As a result time to think about a rebuild. Looking for advice on the best set up. It’s not a track car, mainly long weekend drive. The car is tiptronic and I occasionally use for my commute so I want something that is quite forgiving. Any thoughts and recommendations?

Call Chris Franklin at Center Gravity, he will talk you through all the options. There are very few places in the country that can set up your car better than them.

POST 4Original post

+1 for Center Gravity. They have a demo car (although it was off the road awaiting some engine work I believe) but I've had the CGGT for over a year now and very pleased

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the responses. I know that CG are well respected but they are a bit of a distance from me. I’m thinking the OEM route might be the way forward.
