Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The arms I had installed look almost identical to the ones you put on.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Im checking to see if anyone on here can help with fitment of the 997 Lobster Fork wheels on a 996. The following was done to the car before I purchased it:
Billstein B8 Shocks
Eibach sway bars -

Shock Mounts -
http://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Inf...VSVSI=4311.htm
Lower Control Arms (Meyle brand)
Rear Bump Stop
Front shock top mounts
It appears to be lowered but Im not 100%. Could look that way because it currently has 19 wheels. I dont like the current set of wheels in the rear because of the offset. I appreciate all the input in advance. Currently running 285/30r19x11in the rear. Cant go any wider with the tire or it will rub the fender.
997 narrowbody wheels have lower offset than 996, but the fronts I think are more or less the same. Seen plenty of 996NB running lobsters, including on this very forum.

They will work. I ran OEM 997S Lobster wheels for years. 235/35 19 front and 295/30 19 or 305/30 19 rear. 305s in the pictures above.
Front wheels are 19x8 et 57. I ran a 14mm spacer in front. Rear wheels are 19x11 et 67 with no spacer.
Looks great. My car was set up with H&R lowering springs so I'm wondering if I would have any issues with the rears? I did recently install adjustable lower arms in the rear as the camber was maxed. It would be nice to see them on my car before actually making the purchase, but I know thats a long shot.
My car is on H&R springs/Bilstein B6s in those pictures. You need upper arms for the camber.

my c2 had lobsters when i bought mine, but i switched to the original 408 turbo twists. seemed to have no issues tho, but with US stock height. 032 touring suspension. but personally i just dont think 19s belong on a 996. the chassis was built to have 18s. plenty of people put 19s on the car, but imo they look a bit too big. If youre looking for some tho, have at it, you should be good to go.
