Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

75 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 39Original post

Quote: Very nice indeed! Is there a way to get rid of that amber in our headlights, whats the correct way to remove the headlights?

POST 40Original post

Quote: That amber is inside the headlights. There is a tool that came with your set (same as your oil, I believe) and take out the side liner of the trunk. Insert the tool in the hole and crank it. It should start to move by itself, be careful not to drop the lights. To remove the amber plastic, you need a sodering iron and start chipping away at it in small chunks. Use Aluminum foil to protect the side of the light socket hole from the sodering iron. Once it is all gone, use silver colored amber lights. I know its not very descriptive, but I hope it helps.
