Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • PistonHeads: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

On the top right of the 996 dash there is a small round button to adjust the clock. Which obviously I was about to use last weekend! Mine seems to have fallen off and disappeared, leaving a "naked" spike. Anyone know where a replacement can be sourced? Had a look on design 911 but can't see it there

POST 2Original post

Without wishing to appear fatuous, why didn't you just pick up the phone and call your local OPC to ask them ? In the time it took you to post on here, you could have had an answer straight from the horses mouth, so to speak. But I digress. Part number is 996 641 911 00 Knob, actuator trip meter & clock. And no, I haven't got a price or availability . . . . . And if you go to this page : http://www.porsche.com/uk/accessoriesandservice/po... you can download the parts catalogue of your choice as a PDF.
