Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

75 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 6SpeedOnline: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T150451Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

Quote: No need to take out the plastic. I used a spray can. wrap it up in a bag, stick the shifter in a box. Tape it down to the bottom of the box. spray it on your drive way, close it and bring it into the house for it to dry. http://www.automotivetouchup.com/spray_paint.asp Good luck.

ugliest thing ever really like the rims, now get a wing

POST 7Original post

DANG ARNEE!!! taking care of business i see ...sick stuff everyone! keep it coming...ill be getting some updated pictures up pretty soon...changed my wheel color for the third time ...heres a shot of my previous look...polished turbo twists

POST 8Original post

Damn dude, you were my inspiration for black wheels and now you go and polish them! I just had mine done! Nice polished twists!!

POST 9Original post

i feel that both of you guys need wings in the back! but i love your cars!

POST 10Original post

Trying to butter up my wife for a wing and front lip... wish me luck

POST 11Original post

Reason I have the 4S is because it doesn't have a wing. Other wise I'd be driving a Turbo.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quote: I 2nd that. It's the clean lines of the classic 911s I love. Not to mention the red strip accross the back.

POST 15Original post

Quote: nice, very clean C4S but the REAL picture i wana see is the girl thats your avatar, she looks fine as all hell!!

POST 16Original post

black on a C4S looks amazing... especially when you own a light colour you begin to love the darker colours more and more.. I think C4S looks best when left stock from outside. no wings no nothing.

POST 18Original post

ya thanks for the compliment.. i'd be the first and last white mr. nigeria.. still disagree.. but nice ride.

POST 19Original post

Quote: thats , my C4S looks like yours minus the wing.

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quote: That looks like a small hole in your center grill. Care to explain?

POST 22Original post

Here's a pic of my new ride. Lighting is a bit off, but you get the idea. I've been shopping for a new ride for almost a year. If you can't tell from the ///M stripes on the cabinet, there was supposed to be an M5 parked there. However, I saw this beauty at a local dealership, took it for a test drive, and told my 2 daughters they'd have to stay small (to fit in the back seat). I love the car! It handles AMAZING and is in pristine condition.

POST 24Original post

Quote: Not sure. It was there when I bought it. Somekind of laser/jammer/radar would be my guess. It's not there now ...just a hole. Wonder how much the stealership will charge me for a new one?

POST 25 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quote: Yep, the body parts are expensive. If you are doing the 3rd radiator upgrade, then you could replace it with black painted chicken wires. Believe it our not, all the new Masseratis are all using chicken wires as grills.

POST 26Original post

I love arctic silver C4S's...maybe because that's what I have Keep the silvers coming

POST 27Original post

Quote: line up your chicken wire with maserati oem chicken wire. there is a diff, but even with that said, chicken wire or metal grills have no place on porsches or any sports cars. it looks cheap and out of place. even the pricey lorinser kits on the mercedes... it looks like a joke.

POST 28 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quote: I know there is a difference but not a whole lot. Speed shops sells sheet of those things that are not chicken wires but something similar. Its too bad because my Ruf bumper comes with something similar and I think they look awesome. The reason they are used is that they are really light yet very effective against debris. You know how 996 collect debris, leaves, cigaret butts, etc in the two side radiators. It's a lot of work cleaning them out. The chicken wire type grill filters out a lot of larger pieces yet do not restrict air flow.

POST 30Original post

Quote: I know what you're saying, but I can't believe that BMW, Mitsu and Audi picked out that diamond pattern because it wasn't functional. You know what I mean? I've seen an authentic Ruf bumper on my buddy's 911 and that wire mesh while in black is much better, it really did cheapen the overall look of the piece. Take it for what you will, but I'm just not a fan of chicken wire style mesh.
