Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm new to the world of owning a Porsche and probably a little over paranoid about something going wrong.
Leading evidence: 'little over paranoid about something going wrong' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'little over paranoid about something going wrong' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Recommend borescoping the cylinders' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I would recommend borescoping the cylinders on 4-6 with the piston at TDC from the sump.

It gets noticeably louder and more responsive at a little over 2k rpm, its not a gradual change more like flicking a switch

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm new to the world of owning a Porsche and probably a little over paranoid about something going wrong. I have a slight ticking noise, I can always hear it when I'm at a drive through or parked next to something that reverberates my cars noises. I will post a link to youtube of my car. The engine noise kinda drowns it out but you can still hear it (ish). Any thoughts on what it might be would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, just a bit paranoid
The "chatter" that your ear is honing in on is the normal valve train noise. If you call this a "tick", wait for a "clank." That'll be your bad noise.
She's sitting around 85,000 miles right now. I'm currently running mobile one 0w40 with stp zddp additive in it. Oil pressure has gone up a little bit since the summer weather hit. Usually up around 4 on start up then once she's warm it will sit around 2 at idle and 4-5 on acceleration (depending on how heavy my foot is).
Is one tailpipe sootier than the other? Any oil consumption? Those are typically the tell tail signs. Does the sound get a bit louder when above idle, say 2500 rpm, or does it get quieter?
Sometime people hear the tank vent solenoid clicking and get worried. Its right above the alternator, get a stethoscope and listen to it and see if that's the noise you"re hearing.
tailpipes are the same. She burned about half a quart over 3,000 miles. It gets noticeably louder and more responsive at a little over 2k rpm, its not a gradual change more like flicking a switch
I would recommend borescoping the cylinders on 4-6 with the piston at TDC from the sump. A used oil analysis with emphasis on looking at the aluminum and silicon levels which might indicate scored bores.
Also take a look at the fuel trim values to make sure you don't have bad injectors washing the bores down or a small vac leak causing it to add fuel.
Finally found some time to start fiddling with the Porsche again. I got an obd2 reader and pulled the following fault codes, p0420, p0159, p0136, and p2096. The p0420 code goes on and off, most likely because of 200 cell cats. The lean code is the one that makes me nervous.
What should my my long term and short term fuel trim levels be? What else can I look at with the obd to start pinpointing the cause?
Wow! All of those codes are related to the O2 sensors and feedback from the O2 sensors. Google is your friend on this one. What type of 200 cell cats did you put on? Do you have O2 sensor extenders? Did you replace the O2 sensors? I would be worried about a lean running condition as well. Something is not right. Is your MAF clean? Vacuum leak somewhere? Intake leak?
Ours has a bit black tailpipe on the left, with a bit of noticeable oil consumption. No noise whatsoever, A bit of smoke from both tailpipes, but it disappears. Could it have a bad aos? We pulled the intake plennum and there was oil sitting in bank 2( right side of the engine, left exhaust )
I would recommend scoping the bores. I'd lean towards it having bore scoring, but it certainly could be a bad AOS (or both). You could do a manometer test to check to see if it's within the spec of 4-6" of h2o column.
We ordered new aos, will scope it! I really hope its aos, because we just bought it and the old owner got told its aos when IMS was replaced. The car is immaculate, it was 28k euros with 170k km. We cant afford an engine rebuild
