I know Steinels could probably do it, but their rates run close to dealer labot costs.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

A good friend recently picked up a 2002 base boxster with about 60k on it and is concerned about the IMS going out and taking the engine with it. Can anyone recommend a Indy in NE Ohio capable of doing this job? I know Steinels could probably do it, but their rates run close to dealer labot costs. Thanks for any help.

POST 2Original post

There are few shops that have done more IMS bearings than Steinels. However, another great shop you might want to reach out to is Kraftwerks: http://kraftwerksperformance.com/

POST 3Original post

Charles Thanks for the reply. I know Jeff does good work but was looking for someone closer to Cleveland. I'm sure Steinels can handle the job but wondered if there was anyone else in the Cleveland area. Mike
