As the car now has a 3.6 I no longer have a use for the DME.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Pelican Parts: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is a 5.2.2 DME for a non-egas 996 3.4L. It was flashed with the GIAC 996 performance maps and was used to run the 3.4 L in my Boxster. The car put down 280hp to the wheels with this DME. As the car now has a 3.6 I no longer have a use for the DME. The programming cost me $1500 not including the cost of the DME. Asking $500 for the DME. If you provide me with the Immobilizer and DME codes (available from the dealer with your VIN) for your car I can program them so it will be a simple plug and play into your car. Todd
