FYI the aerokit lip is a factory option on the C4S.
The biggest diff maker to me is the suspension (lower) and the 19" wheels.
plus the lower unpainted parts are painted on the sides and rear as well. for me to be perfectly happy with the looks, i am considering adding techart side skirts and the rear pieces to make it all even/cohesive.

Noticed you have a MISHA wing also. On the Top lid part of these wings there's two openings. (for air I would assume) I was thinking of adding a type of grill to complete the look. (so that it's not just an opening) Did you leave your's alone or did you change it up. Only asking you since you've done a lot to your ride. Thanks. Any advice you can give a new Pcar owner would be appreciated. Mahalo...
I have added this thread to the Porsche Pictures Thread Thread which is a Sticky in Off Topic.

Sorry, but I don't agree. It's a stock-looking C4S that's been lowered, that's it. All you do is take pics of it with different backgrounds, usually, disheveled (sp) backgrounds that makes the car look nicer. I think you should give it a rest and allow new pics to this thread. Previously someone joked that you are whoring the thread, but I wonder if he was really joking. JMO.

dameeeee whats with all the rudeness Pal... He can ***** his car all he wants, there is no rule against whoring now is there? if you dont like to see it, close your eyes... geez, winter is really getting to ppl...
damn...these cars are delicious!
996 C4S looks better than the 997 hands down! 997 looks generic and too plain. Porsche lost the stylings in the 997.
Nice stuff everyone!

thanks redridge! and the twists are most definitely missed
who knew a $300 paint job on a set of stock wheels would be a such a hit...those suckers are missed world wide
heres 2 shots for good measure
This is a sweet forum and even better thread... picking up my 996 C4S this week.
Anyone recommend a pre-purchase inspection shop around Bakersfield or Fresno, CA?
I was going to have it taken to
Michael Porsche, Fresno, CA, or
Family Porsche, Bakersfield, CA.
Anyone have experience with either of these dealerships?

Can hardly wait. I am picking mine up this weekend! 2002 Silver C4S. Trouble sleeping. Short of breath. Can't concentrate. Feel like an elephant is sitting on my chest...

New (to me) C4S!
Wonderful road-trip back from Fresno, California to Kelowna, BC. Highway 97 through the Northwest interior is beautiful.

Love this car. I have been looking forward to a Porsche for ages.
You said it right on the nose! New to me! Have fun with it! Drive it! Mod it! Best of all enjoy it. Life is too short! Gota enjoy everyday like it's your last.
I really agree that the 996 C4S is one of, if not the sexiest 911 to ever sit on a showroom floor. Great form right out of the box. Great flics by all.
Hey Zookie,
What are your front and rear settings on your PSS9's?
How's the ride quality? I also have PSS9"s, and would consider going a little lower...
Thanks
A few pics of mine
Quote:
Front is Low All-The-Way, Rear is Equal as front for a Flat Stance.... i belive fronts are at 5 and rear is at 4... Ride quality is great... i dont Track, just Cruise the Streets... I wish the Front was More Lower... Wish i had bought H&R Coils coz they go Lower...
Quote:
I have the H&R's--they certainly can go very low. I actually was considering switching to PSS9's for a bit more ride quality. Trade? Here's a pic...I've raised the back since then, but I think you can get a 2.25" drop F and R.
Quote:
i don't like how your rear wheel gap is lower than the front.
all 911s should have the rear wheel gap higher than the front since all the weight is back there. BMWs.. front should have a little bigger gap than rear.
