The car is a passion, but it doesn't run my life dude (I guess like it runs yours).
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Nope, the dyno I went to didn't work, need one with mechanically connected front and rear drums/rollers, otherwise the car's diff was getting all confused by the speed difference between front and rear wheels.
Many believe that only a RWD narrow track Porsche can turn... But, a little weight transfer makes a widebody 4 rotate very nicely....
Coming into this next photo's braking + turn-entry point, I saw about 110 on the speedo, through the preceeding apex. The extra downforce was quite noticable and appreciated!
9.5 front with 245s with 2" lip and 11.5 in the back with 315s and 4 " lip, titanium finish centers, outers, lips and polished black inners, matched the factory porsche cap so it blends in nicely, also refinished the calipers with lambo orange and matching stripe on the rims, Zone did an awesome job
Hey C4S owners I'm having a bit of withdrawal looking at this thread! I recently sold my '03 C4S and have some left over parts that you might be interested in: Lloyd Mats (new, never used), Tequipment Indoor Car Cover, Turbo II Hollow Spoke wheels/tires. I have pictures available. Please send me a PM with any questions. Thanks. Mark
Pictures of wheels and car covers are available. Please send me a pm with your email address and I'll send them over to you. Lloyd mats are already sold. Thanks.
I apparently can't send a PM because I don't have any posts on this board, but I'm interested in the cover and the wheels, and woul;d like details and pics. Can you PM me?
Thanks, Chris
thanks Doc......I'm actually considering taking off the Wing on the car should I decide to keep it (still up in the air.....want a TT maybe, but the look of the 4S is what is keeping me with her)......
What do you guys think????? Keep the wing or lose it?????
HIGHCard/Ace is really influencing me to go wingless on the rear.....DAMMIT!!~!! I'm so confused...hahaha
Yeah bud, H&R Springs, Stock OEM's w/ 15mm spacers for the rears, 7mm for the fronts (I think I can get away with 14mm spacers in the front and may do so).......
Remember, yours would look great w/ a GT2M wing also.....oh wait, I'm selling mine.....

bro to keep it real here your car is many miles away from looking anything like highcard's ride. you got these ugly black powdercoated stock wheels.... and the wing. that's it. highcard's slammed, 19" LMs pushed to the corners with an aggressive front bumper.
keep the wing, get some better wheels, get some aerobits... something. think of it as a package deal and don't think goign wingless somehow makes your car look better. it's not. it costs $$$ and painfully... time.
Ben - you ever seen Chappelle Show's skit "When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong".....you're waiting for one of those days....
As for Ace's car, in no way, shape or form am I saying that my car looks anything like his.....as for the wheels, I'm a fan of what I got the way it is, so to say they're ugly, I'll take your opinion, but the respect factor is something you need to give out my man....There's some design cues of your car that I don't care for, but I have never given you hell for that....It's what you like and that's it.....
Thanks for the thoughts though......
booch, you know you're free to air that **** out anytime. let's not make it a you hurted my feelings so i'm going to hit u back elementary school bs. your car has no design cues whatsoever dude.
breaking it down Choi style, it's got black powdercoated wheels backyard garage job. some sort of lowering suspension which is cool. some loud obnoxious exhaust. it's ghetto dude. honestly, i would've just kept it bone stock v. what you got going on now.
nevertheless, glad you didn't get your panties in a bunch over my comments. it's about your damn car not your face or your mom. the cool thing is, you have a chance to make positive change.
p.s. i did enjoy your youtube video
Benji,
Feelings aren't hurt brother......not at all.....especially coming from a guy who's avatar pick used to be a "GHETTO" homeboy stance if I recall....
.
As for the loud exhaust, I think it sounds like music to my ears (the way I like it......many may not, including the wife, but I like it). Don't get what the point is of posting some pix up of my car, and you blasting it.....Trust me, I have plenty of people coming around to admire my car and make compliments. Is it the BEST LOOKING one out there, probably not for most, but definitely for me..........
As for making positive change......I do that every day of my life with the people I am in contact with. The car is a passion, but it doesn't run my life dude (I guess like it runs yours). Cars will come and go (some like, some don't like - everyone's entitled to an opinion), but I do believe you need to settle down a bit with your "OPINIONS" b/c it's just not good karma brother.
Much respect my man.....no worries....

what's with the personal hits man? i was talking about your car but you resort to making fun of someone's avatar pic and then tell me my car runs my life?
weak dude weak. looks like i got to you. WAHAHHAHA and all hyping up that people admire your car.. WAHAHHAHA weak. you just like the rest of 'em
keep the pics coming and please everyone leave your useless comments to yourself. i really enjoyed this thread until these last few pages.
PICS ONLY!!!
Brando, great rims. what are they, and if you dont mind, rough est of cost for the 4....
I think I see the same aero front and side on Ben's and Brando's? Lookin good, guys. I'm getting that jealous urge to do some of these mods to mine....

Rain slows me down to Prius speed
It's not THAT bad, however I know a person who suffered $50k worth of damage to his GT3RS when he combined rain and MPSCups, so I take it realllly easy.

Will try again next week somewhere.
Nice to see this thread is still around! Since I posted last winter, I added PSS10s, Champion RG5/PS2, a hardwired V1, and some Rennline pedals. . . and learned to clean, polish and wax!!

Hey thanks much! As you can tell, I am kind of going for the luxury touring look rather than the racing look. I know wood is a little out of style, but I still like it. (I guess it's because I always wanted an E-type Jaguar when I was a kid).
I also like the rims. I had a chance to stop by Wheel Enhancement when traveling (they are pretty close to LAX). Nice to see a selection in real life.
booch, the RG5s are perfect for narrowbodies but they don't offer it in 12s.
check out the HRE P90s in 19x12s.
[email removed]
is a great help. they're only 20lbs or something ridiculous like that for a 3 piece wheel. not sure how strong they are, but they're gorgeous.
if you search HRE C90 on this site i think it'll pop up someplace. that's where i found them. i would get these wheels if i wasn't so lazy about selling my work wheels right now. damn i've gone thru OZIIIs, then now work.... and then HRE.. and then i know i'm going to want something else.
Hey, thanks Alec4s911, itacud and boochook
First, I guess I should have been more creative in my User Name!
I liked this combo when I saw it. It is way more retro look than most of the 996s I see, but I am kind of retro too. Like I mentioned earlier, I really like the old E-Type Jag (XKE) and I think the overall feel is kind of similar--really sensual lines. Here are a couple better interior shots. The think I like about this is that the original owner did not just add a wood piece here or there, they are really tied together well. I thought the interior color went with the exterior pretty well too.

OK, you caught me.
I know there are some opener hacks out there, but I just attached via velcro to the only plastic cover I could find. It's out of sight for any normal view, but can reach easily (and remove when it's in the shop).
Whew, you guys are tough!
PS: Didn't mean to take so much space on this great thread--just want to thank you all for the comments.
