Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

75 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 6SpeedOnline: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 1 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Nope, the dyno I went to didn't work, need one with mechanically connected front and rear drums/rollers, otherwise the car's diff was getting all confused by the speed difference between front and rear wheels.

Gorgeous Color Jon. I'm looking at the same rims for mine and these shots helped a lot. Love the wood trim as well.......very classy.....

POST 29Original post

Quotes source post: 1919529

Quote: Hey thanks much! As you can tell, I am kind of going for the luxury touring look rather than the racing look. I know wood is a little out of style, but I still like it. (I guess it's because I always wanted an E-type Jaguar when I was a kid). I also like the rims. I had a chance to stop by Wheel Enhancement when traveling (they are pretty close to LAX). Nice to see a selection in real life.

POST 30Original post

booch, the RG5s are perfect for narrowbodies but they don't offer it in 12s. check out the HRE P90s in 19x12s. [email removed] is a great help. they're only 20lbs or something ridiculous like that for a 3 piece wheel. not sure how strong they are, but they're gorgeous.

POST 31Original post

Choi, cool man....I'll check those out.....Thanks for the hook up..... B-

POST 32Original post

I can't find those HRE's anywhere???? Anyone have pix????

POST 33Original post

if you search HRE C90 on this site i think it'll pop up someplace. that's where i found them. i would get these wheels if i wasn't so lazy about selling my work wheels right now. damn i've gone thru OZIIIs, then now work.... and then HRE.. and then i know i'm going to want something else.

POST 39Original post

Hey, thanks Alec4s911, itacud and boochook First, I guess I should have been more creative in my User Name! I liked this combo when I saw it. It is way more retro look than most of the 996s I see, but I am kind of retro too. Like I mentioned earlier, I really like the old E-Type Jag (XKE) and I think the overall feel is kind of similar--really sensual lines. Here are a couple better interior shots. The think I like about this is that the original owner did not just add a wood piece here or there, they are really tied together well. I thought the interior color went with the exterior pretty well too.

POST 40Original post

what's the little black item attached to the fuse box?

POST 42Original post

Quotes source post: 1921054

Quote: OK, you caught me. I know there are some opener hacks out there, but I just attached via velcro to the only plastic cover I could find. It's out of sight for any normal view, but can reach easily (and remove when it's in the shop). Whew, you guys are tough! PS: Didn't mean to take so much space on this great thread--just want to thank you all for the comments.

Hey guys! Its been awhile since I posted...not even sure if this is the right place to ask. Anyways, I recently moved to Austin for a short-term contract and saw this 03 C4S at a small dealer by my apt. Spoke with sales and everything seems to be on the up and up (i.e. service records, carfax, one owner). Asking price is low $30ks with ~91k miles. I do plan to get a PPI if I decide to pull the trigger on this one...but what less obvious issues should I worry about besides RMS? Here's some shots of the car... http://signature-auto-leasing.ebizau...aigsList&pid=1

Quote: car looks really nice. I love my 03 C4S, which is almost a mirror image of this car. only differences are the exhaust tips and grey interior with alum dials. only issue was a dead battery, probably from the car sitting before I bought it, and resulting alternator replacement. I bought mine this year with just over 14k miles. you won't be disappointed with this car, imho. hope it works out for you.
