Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

About the Michelin Super sports, I have the following comments-my rears have always howled (since new) very loud between 113 and 118 km with no change when I rotate them (previous Pirellis wore prematurely despite all highway driving but never howled).

No unique explicit quoted action; no causal link assigned

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I was just wondering what size tires will fit the rear of my 05 Carrera, with no modifications to the wheel wells or fenders. I've seen some with 295s. Is it possible to fit 315s back there? Thanks

POST 4Original post

Stock 19" you'll have the 295/30/19, many of our customers have opted for the 305/30/19 which are stock on the C4S and Turbo models... Yes, per Lenelsa, the Michelin Super Sports are some great new tires.... 315/25/19 is reserved more for the 996 where it is not as tall... Wheel Dynamics

About the Michelin Super sports, I have the following comments-my rears have always howled (since new) very loud between 113 and 118 km with no change when I rotate them (previous Pirellis wore prematurely despite all highway driving but never howled). Now that they are almost warn, they are scary squirmy in the rain. Not happy.

Get the 305's but get the Hankook EVO's. Decent performance, half the price

+1 very happy with mine

Well, I have to eat my words. My tire guy convinced me to try the 305 Mitchelins as there is a 30 day no questions warranty. Happy I did. No howling with these rear tires which still fit with my spacers.
