L8braker - I'm going to be taking off my Misha GT2M wing (you still use your OEM decklid, just swap out the retractable plastic wing with this fiberglass one) if you are interested.

I had the rock guard's custom cut in flat black by instylegraphics.com using the shape of the clear rock guard that comes standard on 997's...You can get their contact info on the website and their pricing/quality is some of the most competitive I've seen!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Don't worry. The viscous coupling in the drive line will obsorb most of the difference. As long as your traction control doesn't kick in, your fine.
^^Thanks Jstrat.....Hey dude, you wanna come out to the Midnight Run through Times Square NYC on June 6th??? Check out the NY Tri State section for details bro or PM me. It's going to be a great event. Would be great to meet you in person.
Redridge, thanks buddy. ALMO (forum member) did an incredible job on the car. He gets all the swirl marks out and he takes his time. He had the car for a day and a half. Amazing work on his part.
Looking forward to meeting you brother at the Midnight Run!!!

When I do a search for the part number, it only shows Eibachs for the Turbo, C2 and C4 up to 2004. There are no references to a part N# for C4S's. Did you order the Turbo ones ? I think the Turbo and the C4S have the same suspension ?? I even have called Eibach directly and they said that they were gonna call me back with the right info !! That was 2 months ago !! I think the problem that confuses the the issue is that my Pcar is a 2005 996 C4S, one of the few (and lasts) produced before the 997 took over. But, I would guess that the 2004 part would fit, but not even that I can find ????
Here's some shots lately from my 2009 GTG Season here in the Mid-Atlantic. I'm thinking of painting the front spoiler, rockers, rear spoiler and bumperettes to color match the Lapis Blue.......Also a couple shots from the event that I helped pull together called Midnight Run Times Square NYC that was just on June 6th, 2009. Let's keep it rolling.......every time I see a Turbo I want one, but when I revisit this thread, I am beyond proud to represent the gorgeous rear hips of the C4S!!!!

Thanks Brando.....hit me up the next time you are in the Northern VA/DC area bud!! The RG5's will set off your car even more, but it looks great already dude!!!
Here's my '04 C4S. What do you guys think? I'm thinking about painting the bumperettes to match the color of the car. Good idea? And I was wondering if a GT2 wing would go nice on a C4S Cab, or is that a bad idea (performance wise)?
Hey Highcard,
on the first picture you posted in this thread, your C4S had a rock guard on the rear fender.
Where did you get that? I've never seen it on any 996 before...

...And since I don't want to be rude in the C4S thread...Here's 2 shots of mine

, keep the thread going, I LOVE IT......
Fronts are 19"x8.5" with a 1.5" lip on 235/35/19, Rears are 19"x11.5" with a 3.5" lip on 315/25/19 continental tires. I'll PM you on an upcomming run maybe you can make it out..
Had to post up new pics of the HRE's......now I just need a wing. Haven't decided on which look I like best yet. Oh and it needs to be lowered(suggestions on lowering and keeping the ride quality welcome). Last picture is of my old I-Forged and my new HRE 890r's.
L8braker - I'm going to be taking off my Misha GT2M wing (you still use your OEM decklid, just swap out the retractable plastic wing with this fiberglass one) if you are interested. Just PM me. It's painted blue, but can easily be painted black at a reputable paint shop.

Love those wheels...Go with H&R lowering springs the ride is really good. I'm in & out NYC, Brooklyn & Queens...These streets are bad...really bad and the rides not that harsh with the H&R's
^^+1 with Lenny here, I've got a set of H&R springs on my 4S and they are just fine, not a harsh ride at all. Coilovers are great too, but not necessary IMO. I've got C/O's on my Boxster and I truly don't notice MUCH of a difference. Springs can be had for a few hundred bucks vs 5x that for the C/O's. Now, do bear in mind, the labor cost is pretty much the same!
