Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Well, its been 30 years in the making but at the age of 40 i have just lost my Porsche Virginity! Proud owner of a 2008 Carrera with 6700 miles, Aero Cup Kit and lots of upgrades. Still smiling and was wondering if anyone else out there had recently been through the same thing and wanted to share the joy! Still not been over 90mph or 5500rpm, getting use to the sound (Tubi Exhaust) and speed! I wonder how long that will take? Also, when will i stop cleaning it after every drive?

Congratulations! The wheels and stripe go well together- I've never seen that kind of stripe before. Enjoy figuring out how to drive it, I'm still doing so myself! Unfortunately our local track closed last fall, so wringing it out locally will have to be an early morning activity. Roll the windows down and accelerate to 6900 RPM inside a tunnel or under an overpass. That sound is amazing!!! Enjoy

Join us at Sebring in September and learn how to drive it.

Congrats Mike!!! Great choice, beautiful machine... Only one caution: The addiction is terminal; there is no known cure. The addiction will be worse, and your smile even wider, when you take it to the track for a Porsche Club Drivers Education event.
