Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I previously converted this car to a full track car. I now want to reinstall the Cats and emission system so it will pass SMOG. I kept all the components and now I want to install them. Any suggestions?

POST 2Original post

Hey @ron09scca , going from a full track car back to street-legal to pass SMOG is quite the project! What part of reinstalling the cats and emission system are you starting with? Adding a few more details about where you're at could help others give you some solid advice.

POST 4Original post

Thanks for your reply. I will appreciate any and all help with this project. Very happy I kept all the parts I took off the car, I have them in storage boxes. Now I need to sort the parts I need to reinstall. When I stripped out the electrical, I used the electric diagrams so I didn't take out any wiring for the ECU , lights, gauges, etc. If I am correct, all I need to pass smog is. The charcoal Canister The Cats The air pump The hard line from the charcoal canister to the engine. The 4 oxygen sensors The purge Valve The two connections on the bottom of the charcoal canister: the large connect goes to the engine compartment with a hard line. where does he small connection go to?? I think it must go to the fuel tank.
