Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I came across this article and thought you all might find it interesting. I drove a 500-horsepower Porsche Cayman, and it beat a GT4 RS where it matters I also got tired of being eaten alive by Corvettes at Watkins Glen! www.howtogeek.com

POST 2Original post

I saw it and love what they did (especially since they are local to me) Very cool and it sounds like it completely transformed the car. However, it’s the low end torque on the N.A. 981 that could use a little more help for usable street performance as far as a daily goes. If that was solved (outside of adding a turbo and muffling the tone) the 981 would be one of the most balanced and desirable Porsches ever. The electric turbo (they use them on the 992 ) may eventually unlock that key.

POST 3Original post

I won’t ever build a car again but to your point? Electric AC is an interesting development IMO, it would transform a 944 ( a car that suffered considerable power loss with AC on) That would reduce parasitic drag as did electric steering. Electric turbo? As stupid as this sounds as a teen I wanted to experiment with an old wiper motor to stuff more air into my 124 but I never did find the time nor did I have a mind design for the project.

POST 4Original post

I’m still waiting to see the actual kit. Right now it still seems like a unicorn. I’d like my 981S to be more than just a cañon car, and doing occasional open laps/hot laps. I have a couple other quality cars in my stable: Gen 1 Raptor Tuned & Charged, & the X3M. Both the 6.5k pound truck and BMW destroy my Cayman. It shouldn’t be so.

POST 5Original post

Agreed, just a small increase in torque say 100lb more would be ideal
