Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Porsche Club GB: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thought you 996' ers might like to see this.....scanned it in from a German mag I picked up th other day. I hope this is not generally indicative of your colour tastes [ ]

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Nice car, shame about the paint.[:' (][:' (][:' (]

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When you specify the " colour to sample" option, what do you think they supplied?

POST 4Original post

.....so that' s where my old Boxer shorts went [ ]

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You have to admire it insofar as the time & effort that went into it. It is a truly impressive bit of ' car art' IMHO! Not being in any way connected with the paint / car industry, these sort of paint jobs never cease to amaze me - the time in generating the design, marking it out on the car, masking up? Or is it all done with transfers? Thinking about it that can' t be because of the curves in three planes. Great!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Tony I agree with you...impressive indeed. But WHY ??????[8|]

POST 8Original post

Think how much it would cost to get " chips away" out to sort out your stone chips. OR maybe it would be cheaper cos he could use up all the left overs.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

my 14yr old has just spotted the picture and in her words " That car is fantastic! the paint work is so cute I love it (Wonder if Dad will let us change our paint work to that ? Probably not!) [ ]

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Would be suprised if it was paint ! It' s probably printed digitally onto vinyl and then applied to the car If you don' t like it this time next week, it can be removed in a couple of hours. The colour of vehicles can now be changed without the need for paint (on the outside anyway).
