It may be worth checking that you're getting voltage to the switch with a volt meter, or checking your fuses if you haven't already.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I replaced the brake light switch and still nothing. Maybe it's a faulty switch? I'm not entirely convinced the one I bought is even OEM. Hmmmmm..... before I go and buy another switch, is there anything else I should look at? Any other ideas? I've read that there's a brake pressure sensor on the Master Cylinder on other threads for older models but is there any for this model? Maybe that's the problem? Not sure if this is related, but the left side driving lights would always blow the fuse every other day. Since the brake lights stopped working, I no longer have that issue. I'm completely lost on this one. I even tried jumping the connector and still nothing.

POST 2Original post

This post shows how to swap the brake light switch out and will show you what the OEM one looks like... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=366950&highlight=abs+psm I find it odd that the brake lights don't work and the cruise control doesn't work. Those are both things that would be affected by the switch. It may be worth checking that you're getting voltage to the switch with a volt meter, or checking your fuses if you haven't already.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you for the info Aerkuld. I ordered a new OEM switch from Pelican so hopefully it's not a short somewhere and that will fix the problem. Thanks again.
