Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The system is in very nice shape, consistent with age. I aquired it through a friend who was upgrading a 996 for track setup. The exact mileage is not known, but I would estimate it was lower than 20K. The cats look perfect. The tips are decent, (996 turbo X50 eisenmann exhaust tips part number ep 6120). They do have some scratches on the bottom side (cannot be seen from the rear), but are very straight. The system comes with OEM mounting straps, and bolts for straps. No other hardware was included. The price is negotiable, but I believe from doing some looking around, that $300 would be a good place to start. Make an offer. I am hoping to get enough to help me get a much needed laptop. Please send me a PM if you are interested, and or text me if you have any interest. [phone removed] Buyer pays for shipping. Estimate will follow UPS vs. your ZIPCODE. Bump - Make best offer. If already have stock exhaust you can hollow out this one and use as a cat bypass between smogs or if you have already done that this can be your backup. Clean setup.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Bump - no reasonable offer refused. Take it cheap. REDUCED to $300.00

Not sure I understand - Do you have any interest in buying this?

POST 6Original post

Will this exhaust fit a 2000 coupe? Are there any advantages to this exhaust, like more HP or better sound? I might be interested if it does.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The only advantage is if you have already have the same exhaust. This one is bone stock. It is either: 1. a backup for smogging 2. one you can modify, (clear out the cats) and then use your original to smog) I don't have any way to determine if the sound would appeal to you, but in general it would be louder and perform better without the 'guts' in the cats. Lastly... I don't know if it fits a 2000. I guess a little research would be in order. I am just trying to get rid of it, but I don't own a car that this goes on. There is ample identification to help you make that determination if you ask the right folks. Someone on Pelican should be able to help you with that. NP

POST 8Original post

Wow! I know I'm very late to this thread, but just asking, Do you still have the exhaust? I am very interested. Will be passing through Roseville tomorrow and Thursday and can stop by. Sorry if it's gone and am disturbing you. Regards, Matt

YOU'RE in luck, no body has nabbed it yet. If you want it make me an offer. It's still in exactly the same condition, in my neat dry garage waiting for it's new owner.
