Don't know what clutch is in it and 97k miles so probably changed before I bought it.

The clutch on my 996 C2 is heavier than I think it should be and looking to change. Don't know what clutch is in it and 97k miles so probably changed before I bought it. Any recommendations?

Odds on it's just wearing out, but worth checking the clutch slave cylinder above the gearbox. Unless you’re doing anything out of the ordinary I would personally just go for standard clutch, but any good independent will be able to advise you. Good luck
