Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, Does anyone know if it's possible to hook a Bose Subwoofer from a 996 or 997 up to a standard Becker CDR 21 stereo? I have Bose speakers fitted and just need to a sub woofer and would like to keep it stock if possible. Thanks Peter

POST 2Original post

It would depend on whether Bose Sub had internal amp, as the sup will need to be powered. Bose often use ultra low impedance on their speakers which could cause issues hooking up to a normal amp. If you can get to sydney look up Marty at FHRX studios. He is one of the few ppl I would trust with my car, up there, and will be able to advise you what options you have. Make sure you take the sub so he can suss it out peace Cyberpunky
