Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 996 carrera 4 convertible 2000 and I keep getting the ABS & PSM light come on. I have my own diagnostic tool which when contacted says its the steering angle sensor. I clear the fault but as soon as I drive about 100 yds it comes back on, sometimes when the lights come on I get a shake on the steering. If I get it collaborated it's OK for a few days the comes on again. I obviously have a fault somewhere possible with a sensor don't know where. Can anyone pleased help
