Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, My car is going in for some paint correction, and while I’m at it, I’d like to replace the ‘Porsche’ and ‘Cayman S’ rear badges. Ideally I’d like them in matte black. I think brushed silver would also be great. Failing that, another gloss silver set. Trouble is, I’m having a hard sourcing them. Anyone got any pointers on where to look? I can find some but not all badges - bit by bit - but I’m weary, particularly if matte or brushed, that the finishes will be different among them.. Any leads greatly appreciated.

DESIGN911 is a good place to start… https://www.design91.uk/p/s--badge-for-porsche-981...

POST 3Original post

Try your OPC but they won't be cheap. As a side note, Design911 order OEM parts from their local OPC and then add their bit on top.

POST 4Original post

I got mine from my OPC...I put a set of 981 chrome finish badges on my 987 which look much better than the awful flat silver ones. If I remember they were around £40 for the whole set - CAYMAN S They were tricky to fit.
