Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Offsets are as close to original spec (8x18 et 50, 11x19 et 45) as BBS offer for the wide-body, so I'm looking for advice, hopefully based on experience, on the recommended tyre sizes and spacers I should use to avoid the tyres rubbing or the rims fouling on the struts/callipers.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've recently purchased some lightly used BBS CH-Rs for my 2003 Turbo; 8.5x19 et 51 and 11x19 et 56. Current plan is to keep the tyre widths the same but with reduced profile at the front, so 235/35 r19 with a 7mm spacer and 295/30 r19 at the rear with a 12 or 15mm spacer, does that sound right? Someone mentioned that I may have to get the ecu reprogrammed to recognise the larger diameter at the rear?
