However, I saw this beauty at a local dealership, took it for a test drive, and told my 2 daughters they'd have to stay small (to fit in the back seat).
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It's actually quite easy. Get some blue painter's tape. Put a bag over the shift ****. spend about 30 minutes taping the parts you don't want paint. An exacto knife helps a lot. make sure you tuck the tape between the leather and the plastic. put on very thin 4 coats of yellow and 4 coats of clear coat. let dry in between and your done. If your ****, use a little thicker coats of the clear and sand in between.
Quote:
No need to take out the plastic. I used a spray can. wrap it up in a bag, stick the shifter in a box. Tape it down to the bottom of the box. spray it on your drive way, close it and bring it into the house for it to dry.

Good luck.

...sick stuff everyone! keep it coming...ill be getting some updated pictures up pretty soon...changed my wheel color for the third time
...heres a shot of my previous look...polished turbo twists
black on a C4S looks amazing... especially when you own a light colour you begin to love the darker colours more and more.. I think C4S looks best when left stock from outside. no wings no nothing.
Here's a pic of my new ride. Lighting is a bit off, but you get the idea. I've been shopping for a new ride for almost a year. If you can't tell from the ///M stripes on the cabinet, there was supposed to be an M5 parked there. However, I saw this beauty at a local dealership, took it for a test drive, and told my 2 daughters they'd have to stay small (to fit in the back seat). I love the car! It handles AMAZING and is in pristine condition.

Not sure. It was there when I bought it. Somekind of laser/jammer/radar would be my guess. It's not there now
...just a hole. Wonder how much the stealership will charge me for a new one?

Yep, the body parts are expensive. If you are doing the 3rd radiator upgrade, then you could replace it with black painted chicken wires. Believe it our not, all the new Masseratis are all using chicken wires as grills.
Quote:
line up your chicken wire with maserati oem chicken wire. there is a diff, but even with that said, chicken wire or metal grills have no place on porsches or any sports cars. it looks cheap and out of place.
even the pricey lorinser kits on the mercedes... it looks like a joke.
Quote:
I know there is a difference but not a whole lot. Speed shops sells sheet of those things that are not chicken wires but something similar.
Its too bad because my Ruf bumper comes with something similar and I think they look awesome. The reason they are used is that they are really light yet very effective against debris. You know how 996 collect debris, leaves, cigaret butts, etc in the two side radiators. It's a lot of work cleaning them out. The chicken wire type grill filters out a lot of larger pieces yet do not restrict air flow.
Quote:
I know what you're saying, but I can't believe that BMW, Mitsu and Audi picked out that diamond pattern because it wasn't functional. You know what I mean? I've seen an authentic Ruf bumper on my buddy's 911 and that wire mesh while in black is much better, it really did cheapen the overall look of the piece.
Take it for what you will, but I'm just not a fan of chicken wire style mesh.

Thanks! It's been out of action this week, though. You probably didn't notice me in my 1994 Integra.
