Suggestion

On most of the units I've used, you can change ringer volume in the menus, but conversation volume is contingent on the volume from the phone, then you can boost it with the Head Unit's main volume ****.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I don't have PCCM, but my iphone has an option to select what kind of device you're connecting to BT with, and setting it to car audio fixed the problem.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Having a slight issue with my PCCM on my 03 C4S. When I make calls the volume that comes through the speakers is very low. So low that when I'm doing anything over about 40mph, I can barely hear the call over the road/engine noise. Is there a setting on the PCCM that I can adjust to increase the volume of the calls?

Try making sure you smart phone's audio volume via Bluetooth is turned to max. On most of the units I've used, you can change ringer volume in the menus, but conversation volume is contingent on the volume from the phone, then you can boost it with the Head Unit's main volume ****.
