If you have Sport Chrono option then you'll have 'individual memory' in the PCM options - you can set the locking/unlocking and other things without having to visit a tester equipped workshop

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hi there,
I have recently bought a 55 Cayman secondhand and am lovin it. One thing I have noticed, however, is that when passengers try to open the passenger door, they don't realise you need to pull once to unlock and once again to open. Inevitably they yank the door handle (unless I remember to tell them).
Does anyone know if there is a way around this?
You can push the unlock button on the dash, or pull your own door handle once, which then will mean it should only need one tug. At least I think that's what happens - the wife's usually too scared of my driving to travel with me anymore.
As above, you can either press the unlock button on the dash or change the door settings so that they don't lock automatically. The manual says that an "authorised Porsche dealer" can change this but I assume any garage with the right diagnostic tool could do it.
If you have Sport Chrono option then you'll have 'individual memory' in the PCM options - you can set the locking/unlocking and other things without having to visit a tester equipped workshop

Hmm... will have a paranoia-off between car jacking and a butch girl ripping off the handle accidentally ;-)
Thanks guys!
Why would you have a butch girl in the car in the first place? ;-)
