IMO........ I didnt notice any difference on my old 964 except it cost me £40 to buy it and another £40 per annum to insure on the policy as they see it as a performance upgrade. Make your own mind up [ ]

It did improve the sound on the 964 but then the airbox also had 6 x 2" holes for the induction roar [ ]

Put one in mine, it seemed to make it smoother through the rev range, sound's good too.

You won't have to replace the K&N filter like a paper filter. Think of the savings!! I Hoovered, sorry, I mean Dysoned mine yesterday. Surprising amount of tree seed in the grooves but basically it was black..... BTW, the airbox is cut open like the pattern of a Battenburg cake on my Cup Car, i.e. two 4-5" square holes, with one right in front of the intake trumpet. The latter is covered by a gauze, so it must have been run sans filter at some point in it's life. I tried it without the filter at Donington last year. It was (painfully) noisier and actually felt down on power!! Melv
